Position Overview
Monitor the health and well-being of individuals served and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff
Provide assistance supervision and training with daily living activities including personal care hygiene and mobility support
Support individuals with financial management community involvement and social interaction
Help maintain a safe supportive and high-quality environment for individuals receiving care
Assist with activity programs including community outings and medical appointments
Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and care records
Assist with household responsibilities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
REQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ️
To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Current Certified Nursing Assistant CNA certification required
CPR and First Aid certification required
At least one 1 year of CNA experience preferred ideally supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in hospital residential clinical or long-term care settings
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong communication teamwork and organizational skills
Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing high-quality care
