Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Local Only
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day Shift | 36 Hours per Week | 14 Weeks
Shift Timing: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (30-minute meal break)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 14-week assignment in a long-term care setting, providing direct patient care and supporting nursing staff with daily clinical and personal care needs.

Job Description

The CNA will be responsible for delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care in a structured healthcare environment. Duties include assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, following infection control protocols, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient care operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Provide basic patient care including bathing, grooming, and feeding
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care tasks and procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
  • Support mobility and transfer of patients as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient care documentation
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare team
  • Respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner

Required Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Previous CNA or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong patient care and communication skills required
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and patient mobility required
  • Understanding of safety and infection control protocols required
  • Ability to work in a long-term care environment required
