Hours Full Time

Shift Variable

Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the RN to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patientresident family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patientresident through the RN. These activities focus on maintaining a safe hazard free clean environment which facilitates patientresident focused care.

Required Qualifications

Successful completion of Caring Reliably Culinary Training ServSafe and Dining Assistance within four months of hire. Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

6 months of experience as a nurse aide nursing assistant or personal care attendant in long term care or hospital.
