Amsterdam, NY 12010. This is a

Position Title: CNA LTC
Location: Amsterdam, NY 12010
Duration: 13 weeks contract with all possible extension
Shift: Days
Schedule:- Flexible Day/Evening shifts
- Double shifts required every Saturday and Sunday
- One additional shift during the week
- Guarantee Hours: 40
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels as required
- Observe patient behavior and report changes in condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics
- Support nurses with routine patient care tasks as delegated
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety standards, and facility guidelines
- Provide compassionate care while promoting patient dignity and comfort
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- Minimum 2 years of CNA experience preferred
- Preferred EMR System: EPIC
- Knowledge of basic patient care, vital signs, and ADLs
- Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program (preferred)
