Sycamore Care Strategies is seeking  Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) for a full-time day and night shift positions in Loogootee, IN. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The ideal candidate will have a current CNA certification and experience working in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
  • Report any changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a long-term care facility preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
