CNA - Med/Surg - Day

Are you passionate about patient care and teamwork? Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients from newborns to geriatrics, including those in Transitions–Post Acute Care (T-PAC).

Under the guidance of an RN, you’ll help create a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for patients and their families—while growing your skills in a fast-paced clinical setting.

What you'll do:

• Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
• Assist nurses with daily care, monitoring, and patient observations
• Participate in shift reports and communicate patient updates clearly
• Recognize changes in patient condition and report promptly
• Conduct patient rounds and complete accurate EHR documentation
• Assist with patient transfers and transportation
• Keep patient care areas stocked, clean, and organized
• Be a key part of a collaborative, patient-centered care team

What you bring:

• Completion of a state-certified CNA training program
• CNA certification required or ability to obtain within 60 days 
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 60 days
• A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Physical and work expectations: 

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and move patients and equipment safely (with or without assistance)
• Operate medical equipment and respond to alarms
• Thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress healthcare environment
