NURSE ASSISTANT - CERTIFIED Acute Care Swing Bed
Join our staff of caring professionals providing aide and assistance to Hospital and ER patients. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintains performance at level of certification (basic, intermediate, advanced, or expert)
- Responds to signal lights and bells to determine patients needs
- Bathes, dresses, and undresses patients
- Serves and collects food trays and assists patients who require help
- Assists residents with ambulation
- Toilets patients and assists to toilet or changes patients soiled undergarment
- Changes bed linens
- Responsible to record intake and output and to record tray monitors
- Oral and dental care
- Follow established Restorative Program and document results
- Places resident/patient wishes and supports their choices concerning mealtimes, bed wake-up times, clothing choices, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
Experience:
- Previous experience in the health field desired
- Professional Licensure
Certification:
- Nursing Assistant - Certification with the Washington State Department of Health
Physical Requirements:
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
