CNA / Nurse Assistant/LTC

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (3x12 Hours)
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (3x12 Hours)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing in the applicable state
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Senior Living preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused with excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following established nursing standards and facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, positioning, and transportation while ensuring resident safety and comfort.
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs, heights, weights, intake/output, and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with bowel and bladder care, empty urinary drainage bags, and observe for abnormalities.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms, treatment areas, bathing areas, and equipment while following infection control standards.
• Respond promptly to call lights, perform routine resident safety rounds, and provide compassionate support to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Assist residents with appointments, recreational activities, restorative care, and other assigned duties to promote their overall well-being.
