CNA / Nurse Assistant/LTC

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (3x12 Hours)
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (3x12 Hours)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the applicable state.
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Senior Living experience preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physically demanding duties.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment.
• Measure and record vital signs, heights, weights, intake/output, and report changes in resident condition.
• Assist with bowel and bladder care, catheter care, specimen collection, and glucose testing.
• Maintain infection control standards, clean resident areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Respond promptly to call lights and ensure resident safety at all times.
• Assist residents with appointments, activities, and transportation as needed.

Skills Preferred:

• Experience with PointClickCare charting system.
• Knowledge of LTC and Skilled Nursing environments.
• Experience using Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, transfer belts, glucometers, pulse oximeters, oxygen equipment, and other patient care devices.
• Familiarity with PPE, isolation precautions, specimen handling, and safe patient transfer techniques.
