    Caregiver Needed – PCA, CNA, Nurse Aide Required

    Do you enjoy helping others? Looking for a flexible weekend position? Senior Helpers is currently seeking professional, caring, and reliable caregivers to support our senior clients on weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with daily ADLs, running errands, providing transportation to doctor’s appointments, and offering meaningful companionship while families are away.     Primary Responsibilities

    • Companionship and conversation
    • Personal Care (assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)
    • Light Housekeeping/Household Management (incl. laundry and linen changing)
    • Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)
    • Meal planning and preparation
    • Medication reminders
    • Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)
    • Transportation using own or client’s vehicle
    • Helping family members learn safe care techniques
    • Tolerance to pets (dogs and/or cats)
    • Lift 40lbs or less. 

    Qualifications

    • Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff
    • Assist with personal care
    • Companionship
    • Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
    • Has experience with Dementia
    • Has experience with Gait belt Transfers
    • ** Caregiver must be a Certified PCA, CNA, or Nurse Aide to get qualified for this position
    • Ability to get to work using reliable transportation
    • Valid US issued driver’s license with no serious driving violations
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
    • Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers
    • Pass a drug screening test 
    • Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required
    • Must be able to be reached via phone, text, or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
    Competitive pay

    Minimum shifts are 4 hours
