About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff and provide quality patient care within the Infirmary at Lower Buckeye Jail. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients while assisting with daily healthcare operations in a correctional medical environment.

1 Night Shift WOC Opening
Must commit to 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Minimum 13-week assignment
Location
Lower Buckeye Jail (LBJ) – Infirmary
No floating to other jails
What You'll Do
Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Obtain vital signs and patient histories.
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
Document patient information within the electronic health record.
Perform venipunctures and laboratory testing.
Assist providers and nursing staff with procedures and examinations.
Maintain exam room supplies and equipment.
Schedule appointments and transcribe provider orders.
Qualifications
Required
Current, unrestricted CNA certification issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State.
Current PSV verification.
Current N95 Respirator Fit Test documentation.
Current First Aid Certification.
Minimum one (1) year of CNA experience.
Strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills.
