Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/TCNA) for a travel assignment in Elkins, WV. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care support in a clinical or long-term care setting while assisting nursing staff in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
This role requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
- Support patient mobility including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation assistance
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to licensed nursing staff
- Maintain patient comfort, hygiene, and safety throughout the shift
- Record and document patient care activities accurately
- Assist with maintaining clean and organized patient care areas
- Respond promptly to patient requests and care needs
- Follow established care plans and facility protocols
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Completion of state-approved CNA training program required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow clinical instructions and care plans accurately
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, and patient transfers
