Job Description

Part-Time RN Trainer / Supervisor - Home Care (Raleigh, NC)

  • Part-time RN role supporting training and supervision in non-medical home care (not home health)
  • Pay: -$33-$35/HR
  • Urgent hire to support launch of a 2-year pilot CNA-style training program
  • Train individuals with no prior experience to work as in-home aides/PCAs
  • Pilot training format:
    • 8-hour days
    • Either 1 day/week for 10 weeks or 2 days/week for 5 weeks
  • Weekly onsite orientation: Tuesdays, 12-3 PM
  • Monthly advanced PCA training (4 hours) and dementia training
  • Review and deliver existing training modules, charts, and materials
  • Enhance current PCA training program with pilot content
  • Supervise and mentor CNAs/PCAs; prior CNA supervision experience required
  • Optional expansion into home care assessments and supervisory visits
  • Ideal background: home care, home health, or skilled nursing (hospital-only experience not a fit)
  • Requires basic tech skills (email, computer, scheduling tools)
  • Personality: bubbly, outgoing, strong trainer/mentor
  • Flexible schedule (hours may vary week to week)
  • Ideal for semi-retired RNs, RN educators, or students
