CNC and Robotic Fabrication Operator
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00/hour
A day in this role
You arrive to a clean, organized steel fabrication floor, review the production schedule, and load the correct programs for the day’s runs. You read shop drawings, measure twice, and confirm tooling before bringing CNC and robotic equipment online. Throughout your shift, you set up, program, and operate machines to process structural steel parts, checking dimensions with precision and making quick adjustments to keep quality on target.
As parts come off the line, you verify accuracy against drawings, log production counts and material usage, and perform basic maintenance checks. When something looks off, you troubleshoot, tweak machine settings, and collaborate with fabrication and quality teammates to keep work flowing smoothly. You wrap up by ensuring your area is safe, clean, and ready for the next run.
