This role is with a reputable company specializing in steel fabrication and structural metalwork. You will be setting up and operating oxy/fuel and plasma burn tables to cut steel plates and structures. Hours:
First shift available, starting at 6:00 AM, and third shift (times may vary).
Pay:
$17$21 per hour (based on experience). Weekly pay with direct deposit.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate oxy/fuel and plasma burn tables to cut steel
Read blueprints and cutting lists accurately
Measure materials precisely
Check the quality of finished cuts and complete inspection paperwork
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area
Keep equipment running smoothly
Minimum Requirements:
Reliable and mechanically inclined
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
Able to lift up to 70 lbs
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with burn tables such as Burn 10, Edge Pro, Messer Navigator
Blueprint reading skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience operating CNC burn tables or in steel fabrication (plus)
Other Requirements:
On-site work environment
May require physical effort including lifting heavy materials
