ONSITE ONLY in Mentor, Ohio (Hybrid not offered at this time) Responsible for drafting and engineering a project from start to finish, including floor plans, detail plans, submittals, and production type drawing sets. Responsibilities and Duties - Be able to pull parts of an Assembly CAD drawing and lay out part in a clear manor for an operator to understand.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase production.
- Identify Software problems during programming.
- Be able to assist in troubleshooting when an operator has an error at the machine.
- Develop work instructions accompanied with program when required.
- Maintain a log of all programs.
- Must have full accountability of all programs
Requirements and Skills - High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of millwork is a plus.
- A minimum of (2) courses in AutoCAD, or two years of working with AutoCAD
- Understanding “Parts” drawing and drawing views(Top, front, side views) is a must.
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of AlphaCam or equivalent CAM software is a plus
