CNC Grinder – 2nd Shift
Location: Solon, OH
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | High-Precision Job ShopA high-precision job shop in Solon is looking to add a CNC Grinder to its second shift team. This is a hands-on role in a clean, climate-controlled facility specializing in tight-tolerance, low-volume work for industries such as aerospace, medical, and defense.What You’ll Do:- Set up and operate CNC OD/ID grinders (Studer, Kellenberger, etc.)
- Work from blueprints and process sheets to achieve tight tolerances
- Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, comparators, and other precision instruments
- Perform in-process checks and final inspections to ensure part quality
- Maintain clean work area and follow safety protocols
What We’re Looking For:- Experience with CNC OD/ID grinding and holding tolerances within .0002"
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanship
- Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and contribute to a small, skilled team
- Manual grinding experience is a plus
