CNC Grinder Technician

CNC Grinder – Manufacturing Technician (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Ontario, CA

Pay: $19–$25/hr

Hours: 5am-1:30pm + overtime

Our client is looking for a CNC Grinder / Manufacturing Technician to grind, finish, and inspect industrial rollers and wheels. You’ll operate grinding and polishing machines, check dimensions, and help keep production running smoothly.

Grinder Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate grinding and polishing machines to meet required specs.

• Load/unload rollers and components safely.

• Follow work instructions and production schedules.

• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.

• Monitor machines and report defects or issues.

• Keep accurate production and quality records.

• Assist with setups, tooling changes, and basic maintenance.

• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

• Support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• 2–3+ years of manufacturing, machine operation, or grinding experience preferred.

• Experience with grinders, lathes, or polishing equipment is a plus.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and follow instructions.

• Basic knowledge of precision measuring tools.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for 8+ hours.
