Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour - based on experience (+ $4.50 shift differential)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Shift: 5 PM-3:30 AM

Job Duties:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines to produce precision-machined components.
• Perform large-diameter turning operations on a variety of materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Utilize CAM software and machining techniques to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Machine steel, stainless steel, alloys, and cast materials to precise tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make program or tooling adjustments as needed.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while following manufacturing and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and waste reduction.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with large-diameter turning operations strongly preferred
• Strong background in machining steel, stainless steel, alloys, and cast materials
• Solid understanding of CAM software and CNC programming techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications
• Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC lathes independently
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
