CNC Laser Cutting & Fabrication Technician
We are seeking experienced CNC laser cutting professionals in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to join a busy manufacturing operation. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on environment and have a passion for precision metal fabrication.

Hours: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM, Monday Friday
Shift: 1st Shift (on-site)
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Employment Type: Contract To Hire
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC laser cutting machines (fiber laser preferred)
Load, unload, and stage sheet metal materials
Cut stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum components
Read blueprints, technical drawings, and cut lists
Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and measurement tools
Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
Support secondary fabrication processes such as deburring, grinding, and forming
Maintain production efficiency, quality, and safety standards
Work closely with welding, fabrication, and assembly teams
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in CNC laser cutting, metal fabrication, or manufacturing
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience working with sheet metal and stainless steel
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Nice to Have Skills:
Fiber laser experience (Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, Mazak)
CNC machine operation skills
CAD/CAM or nesting software experience
Press brake, metal forming, or general fabrication skills
Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
