At Starflex, your day starts at the laser. You’ll review work orders and 2D drawings, stage sheets, and dial in a CNC laser cutter for production runs. As the program hums, you’ll oversee material flow, verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and keep parts moving to the next operation—without compromising quality or safety.

What a typical day looks like

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment for scheduled jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to confirm specifications
• Load/unload sheet and plate safely and efficiently (forklift use as needed)
• Check first-article and in-process quality; confirm dimensional accuracy
• Handle basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues
• Maintain steady production flow and hit daily output targets
• Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues fast

What you bring

• Hands-on experience running CNC laser equipment (required)
• Familiarity with Amada laser systems preferred; other platforms welcome
• Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints confidently
• Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Reliable work ethic and strong attendance
• Forklift experience is a plus
