Your impact
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting systems to meet job requirements and specifications.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine materials, sequence, and settings.
- Continuously monitor machine output and make real-time adjustments for optimal performance.
- Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished parts to verify quality, tolerances, and overall conformity.
- Keep the workstation clean and safe, following all applicable safety practices.
- Partner with team members to reach daily and weekly production goals on schedule.
Skills and background
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNC-focused technical training preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a CNC laser operator or in a comparable manufacturing position.
- Strong grasp of CNC machinery fundamentals and laser cutting processes.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering prints.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical problem-solving approach.
- Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset.
- Willing and able to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs arise.
