CNC Lathe Machinist – Night Shift

TMD Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a night shift opportunity. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who can perform complete CNC machine setups, operate equipment independently, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay: Up to $30/hr DOE

Job Duties:

• Complete CNC lathe setup and tear-down
• CNC Lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore mics, and thread gauges
• Make offsets, basic program adjustments, and troubleshoot issues
• Perform first article and in-process inspections
• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
• Communicate effectively with team members for shift handoffs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience
• Strong machine setup and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Must be dependable, accountable, and able to work independently
• Experience in a fast-paced shop with multiple setups per shift
