TMD Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a night shift opportunity. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who can perform complete CNC machine setups, operate equipment independently, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift: 4:00 PM 12:30 AM Pay: Up to $30/hr DOE
Job Duties:
Complete CNC lathe setup and tear-down
CNC Lathes
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore mics, and thread gauges
Make offsets, basic program adjustments, and troubleshoot issues
Perform first article and in-process inspections
Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
Communicate effectively with team members for shift handoffs
Requirements:
3+ years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience
Strong machine setup and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Must be dependable, accountable, and able to work independently
Experience in a fast-paced shop with multiple setups per shift
