What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce close-tolerance precision components
- Operate CNC mills as needed (mill experience is a plus)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Make offsets and minor program edits to maintain quality and efficiency
- Select tooling and optimize setups for repeatable production
- Assist with fixturing and workholding solutions
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Maintain quality documentation and follow AS9100 quality standards
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience with a strong emphasis on lathes
- Proven setup and operation experience
- Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
- Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining fundamentals
- A dependable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in producing quality work
- Someone with the drive, determination, and dedication to continually improve their skills
Bonus Qualifications
- CNC mill setup and operation experience
- G-code editing
- CAM experience (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar)
- GD&T knowledge
- Experience with Haas, Mazak, or Fanuc controls
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience a plus, as this is the direction we're heading
- Trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent training
