FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Operate CNC cell consisting of 3-5 CNC machines one of which may be a CNC mill.
Check parts with provided micrometers, height gages, thread gages, bore gages, air gages, indicators to check
run out and use any other inspection tools provided.
Provide in process parts to inspection to validate inspection done at the machine.
Adjust offsets as required to ensure parts meet blueprint requirements.
Change tools as required and re-check dimensions after tool change.
Inform first shift of any issues encountered on second shift.
Stay focused on ensuring parts meet print and keeping machines running.
Operate all machines in a safe manner.
Do not operate any equipment that you do not know how to use.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Keep completed parts on a sperate pallet.
Segregate and paint red any non-compliant parts.
Do not use cell phone while working, use on break time or lunch time only.
Stay in cell during work hours.
The selected candidate will also possess:
5 years of experience running CNC lathes
Ability to read blueprint.
Ability to use hand tools to measure parts.
Good attendance. Must show up on time every day.
Must be able to organize tools, parts and work area.
At minimum must be a High School graduate.
Must know shop math.
Salary Range: $33-45/hour
