American Pulverizer Co., a designer and manufacturer of reduction equipment and complete shredding systems, is seeking an experienced lathe specialist to join their team as a CNC Machinist in St. Louis, MO.

If you have at least 5 years of CNC machining experience and solid skills with Lathe machines, you need to apply!

What You’ll Do as a CNC Machinist at American Pulverizer:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials required for each job.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet exact tolerances and quality standards.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize G- and M-codes for editing programs at the machine
  • Perform routine adjustments to machine offsets, speeds, and feeds to optimize production efficiency and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make corrections to minimize downtime and scrap.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, and machine performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to improve machining processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
