Position Summary:

Set up, operate, and run two-axis CNC lathes/turning equipment, including Puma 400 machines with Fanuc controls. Hands-on setup, measurement, offsets, and troubleshooting are required-not button-push operation.

Core Responsibilities:

• Read approved programs and make practical G-code edits, including tool-number changes.
• Set work/tool offsets; install tooling and jaws; load and prove established jobs.
• Monitor tool wear, make corrections, and troubleshoot routine issues.
• Cut and measure parts; read blueprints/work instructions and hold required tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools and document production/inspection activity.
• Work safely in a multi-shift aerospace/industrial machine shop.
• Machine titanium, Inconel, and other hard metals; site-specific methods will be taught.

Preferred Qualifications

Puma 400/Fanuc; aerospace, high-precision, or hard-metal machining; titanium/Inconel; blueprint reading/close-tolerance inspection; stable history or clear contract/short-tenure explanations. Programming from scratch is not required.
