CNC Lathe Machinist

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Phoenix where precision matters and your skills help produce mission-critical components. We're hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists who can independently set up, run, and prove out parts on modern Fanuc-controlled turning centers. Multiple shifts available.

Pay Range: $25–$35/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon–Thurs) (+8% Shift Differential)

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and turning centers utilizing Fanuc controls
• Perform complete machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and program prove-outs
• Machine aerospace components to tight tolerances and quality requirements
• Utilize machine probing and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and maintain process control
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, surface finish concerns, and tolerance drift
• Maintain production efficiency while ensuring compliance with quality standards

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of CNC lathe machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
• Proven ability to perform independent setups and program prove-outs
• Strong experience with Fanuc controls
• Experience machining tight-tolerance components (±0.001" or better)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
• Familiarity with live tooling, multi-axis lathes, or twin-spindle machines is a plus
• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
