Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes and related machining equipment while producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal CNC Lathe Machinist has strong machining experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Candidates with leadership abilities who can assist in training and mentoring others are encouraged to apply.
Required Experience & Skills
3 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment required
Strong knowledge of CNC lathes and machining processes
Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment independently
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation
Proficiency using precision measuring tools including calipers and O.D./I.D. Micrometers
Strong mathematical skills, including feeds and speeds calculations and fraction-to-decimal conversions
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and related machining equipment
Read, interpret, and make basic edits to CNC programs as needed
Produce high-quality machined parts while meeting production schedules
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and maintain tolerances
Calculate feeds, speeds, and machining parameters to achieve required finishes
Maintain machinery and equipment in proper operating condition
Follow 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain an organized workspace
Meet productivity goals within assigned work cells
Train and mentor less experienced machinists and operators as needed
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues
Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in high-mix or job shop machining environments
Ability to troubleshoot machining and setup issues independently
Leadership or mentoring experience in a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent walking and movement around production equipment
Frequent use of hands, arms, and legs while operating machinery and handling materials
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Fast-paced manufacturing and machine shop environment
Exposure to CNC equipment, cutting fluids, metal chips, and production noise
Requires strict adherence to safety procedures and quality standards
PPE required while working on the production floor
