Hire Sync is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a well-established precision manufacturing facility in Euclid, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality components and wants to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC lathe experience, understands machining principles, and is comfortable working with Fanuc controls, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical drawings.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision metal components.
• Perform basic machine setups, tooling changes, and fixture adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
• Work with various metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, and copper nickel.
• Adjust speeds and feeds to maintain quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot alarms, and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Identify and correct machining issues involving tooling, chucks, collets, and fixtures.
• Load raw materials, unload finished parts, and perform finishing operations.
• Complete routine machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of CNC lathe and/or mill operating experience.
• Experience working with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and metal properties.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform basic CNC setups and tooling adjustments.
• Understanding of basic shop math and machining measurements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while following production instructions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
• Own or willingness to purchase basic measuring instruments and hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using contour measuring instruments.
• Ability to identify machining defects and make corrective adjustments.
