Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Operator with a knack for precision and detail? If so, we have an exhilarating opportunity for you to join our leading manufacturing team. Responsibilities:

As a CNC Lathe Operator, your primary duties will include:

1. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models to understand the specifications and requirements of the product.
2. Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts.
3. Utilizing various measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to inspect and ensure the accuracy of the machined parts.
4. Performing 1st article inspection to verify conformance to specifications and adjusting machine controls as necessary.
5. Understanding and interpreting G code programming and making modifications if required.
6. Selecting and installing appropriate tooling based on the material type and production requirements.
7. Monitoring the machining process and identifying any machine malfunctions or tooling issues promptly.
8. Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
9. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Operator in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and G code programming.
4. Extensive knowledge of various measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
5. Familiarity with 1st article inspection and quality assurance protocols.
6. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
10. A high school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or degree in a related field will be a plus.
