CNC Lathe Operator

Location: Mills River Area
Pay: $20 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

A manufacturing company in the Mills River area is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications
  • Perform machine setups including tooling adjustments, offsets, and program selection
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report concerns to supervisors
  • Work with the production team to meet daily production goals
  • Monitor tooling and supplies and report when replacements are needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines (lathe experience preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Schedule & Pay

Monday - Friday
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
$20 - $23 per hour depending on experience
