Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to improve and optimize production processes
- Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Lathe machines- Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred
Experience with Mazak and/or Nakamura machines preferred
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
