Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work order(s)
Set up and adjust machines for different jobs
Proving out programs/assisting with programming (at machine or offline)
Trouble shooting, training, and operating machines within CNC department
Ensuring quality control making sure inspection/checks are complete for all finished parts
Perform routine maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
5 years successful years of CNC experience (preferably lathes)
Experience with set-up, programming, troubleshooting, training, and operating
Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Dependable and takes ownership of task and follows through on commitments
Willingness to learn/continuously develop skills and seek growth opportunities
