We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Beaumont, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC lathe programming experience, including the ability to manually create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
This position supports a manufacturing environment specializing in plastic injection molding and PVC components. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC lathe programming, machine setup, process improvements, and producing high-quality precision components.
Responsibilities:
Manually create, edit, and modify CNC lathe programs using G-code
Set up and operate CNC lathes for production and prototype work
Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency
Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine setups
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment
Maintain quality standards and production requirements
Support process improvements and manufacturing projects
Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Qualifications:
5+ years of CNC lathe machining and programming experience preferred
Strong ability to manually write and edit CNC lathe programs required
Proficient with G-code programming
Experience with CNC setup, tooling, and offsets
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience machining plastics, PVC, or injection molding components is a plus

CNC Mill 4-Axis setup and operation experience is a plus
