CNC Level 2/3 Machinist Location: Flint Area, MI

Our client is a stable manufacturing company in the Flint area that has been in business for more than 47 years. They manufacture large stainless steel containers, mixers, agitators, and parts for OEM coatings companies, as well as manufacturers of liquid products. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer to their team.
Position SummaryThe CNC Programmer will be responsible for setting up, programming, and adjusting CNC mills and lathes while ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and machining experience, be detail oriented, and work well independently.
Responsibilities- Set up, program, and adjust CNC mills and lathes.
- Create and modify G and M code programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, inspect, and test completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Perform machine adjustments to optimize production and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality standards.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining and programming experience.
- Experience setting up and adjusting CNC mills and lathes.
- Proficient with G and M code programming.
- Experience with Haas, Mori Seiki, and Fanuc controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Must provide your own tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
