CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Our client a well-established precision manufacturing company is expanding and looking for a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping high-end equipment running at peak performance. This is a direct-hire opportunity in a clean, modern facility with long-term stability.

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-4:30PM (overtime as needed)

Location: Billerica, MA

Salary range: $90,000 - $105,000

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machines (electrical and mechanical)
• Perform and improve preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot using electrical/mechanical documentation and machine data
• Service components including ball screws, bearings, linear guides, spindles, servos, turrets, parameters, relays, and machine leveling
• Operate CNC equipment to verify repairs
• Document maintenance and repair activities
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and ladder logic
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated; works well independently and with a team
