CNC Machine Operator – 2nd ShiftLocation: Painesville, OH
Pay: $20–$25/hr
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 1:30 PM–11:30 PM
Position Type: Full-TimeInova Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a precision machining company in Painesville, OH!This position is ideal for a skilled manufacturing professional with previous machine operation experience who is comfortable reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment.Position OverviewThe CNC Machine Operator will perform hands-on production work while following blueprints and work instructions to produce quality precision-machined parts. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery according to production requirements and work instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts are produced accurately
- Follow detailed work instructions and production specifications
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures
- Identify and report quality issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Learn and follow company-specific machine and production processes
QualificationsRequired:
- Previous CNC machine operation or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Hands-on experience using micrometers and calipers
- Comfortable using gauges and other precision measuring equipment
- Strong math skills
- Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred:
- Previous precision machining experience
- Experience working with CNC equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with hand tools and precision measuring equipment
