We’re seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a team in Seneca, SC, producing high-quality cutting tools in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment. Job Summary: The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision metal or plastic components according to specifications. This role ensures that parts meet quality standards, production schedules are met, and machines operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or grinders) in accordance with production orders and engineering drawings.
  • Load raw materials, select and install appropriate tooling, and input necessary machine offsets or parameters.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain tolerances and quality.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major mechanical problems to maintenance or supervision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow all safety and quality control standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in machining preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machinery (milling, turning, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient with precision measuring tools and quality inspection methods.
  • Basic understanding of CNC programming concepts is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
 Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pmStarting Pay: $20.50/Hour, $2 Shift Differential#IND3
