The CNC Machine Operator will independently operate and program milling machines and lathes during day shifts. This role requires setup, monitoring, and handling of materials while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and accurate documentation. The operator will apply technical skills to maintain precision and efficiency in machining processes.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC milling machines and lathes for production runs
Independently operate and monitor CNC machines ensuring optimal performance
Program CNC machines according to specifications
Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently
Comply with all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Document production details and machine operation data accurately
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience in CNC machining
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of CNC programming basics
Ability to read blueprints
Familiarity with machining tools and precision measurement
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
Effective communication skills
