You will operate various CNC turning centers, helping to create high-quality parts for demanding industries. Hours
8:00 am 4:30 pm, Monday Friday (1st Shift)
Pay
$20.00 $25.00/hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers to produce precision parts per specifications
- Set up tools and fixtures, and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any malfunctions
- Load or edit programs using G & M Code
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following all PPE and safety protocols
Minimum Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or CNC certification a plus
- Previous experience operating CNC machines; turning center experience preferred
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gauges; inspection equipment experience is a plus
- Comfortable inspecting parts for quality and conformity to tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings
- Experience working with G & M Code is a plus
Nice to Have Skills- Experience with full set-up and programming of CNC machines
- Familiarity with technical drawings and inspection tools
Preferred Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior CNC machine operation experience, from entry-level to full set-up and programming
