CNC Machine Operator

We are currently looking for skilled CNC Machine Operators in Kent, Ohio. If you have experience operating CNC machines and want to join a dedicated team, we want to hear from you!

This family-owned company specializes in producing precise OEM parts for heavy machinery applications. You will operate various CNC turning centers, helping to create high-quality parts for demanding industries. Hours
8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday (1st Shift)

Pay
$20.00 – $25.00/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers to produce precision parts per specifications
  • Set up tools and fixtures, and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report any malfunctions
  • Load or edit programs using G & M Code
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following all PPE and safety protocols

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or CNC certification a plus
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines; turning center experience preferred
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gauges; inspection equipment experience is a plus
  • Comfortable inspecting parts for quality and conformity to tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience working with G & M Code is a plus

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with full set-up and programming of CNC machines
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and inspection tools

Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior CNC machine operation experience, from entry-level to full set-up and programming
