CNC Machine Operator
Location: Madison Heights, VA (On‑site)
Type: Full‑Time, All shifts
Pay: $17.00 – 21.00/hr

QAD is searching for full time operators of our CNC Swiss Style Lathe, CNC Mill Machines, and Wire EDM Machines to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Learn, comprehend, and understand mechanical blueprints
- Learn calibration procedures and how to use digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools as needed
- Perform part inspections with a high level of attention to detail
- Perform scheduled maintenance plans for all machines
- Keep work areas safe, productive, and clean
- Support a team approach with a strong work ethic
- Work varying schedules, which may include day or night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
Qualifications
- Ability to learn and apply mechanical blueprint reading and precision measurement
- Great attention to detail for accurate part inspections
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. independently
- Fanuc control experience is a plus
- CNC mill or CNC screw machine operation experience is a plus
- Wire EDM operation experience is a plus
- Willingness and flexibility to work on varying schedules, including potential shift work and holidays
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
