Location: Sylmar, CA (ONSITE)
Contract Duration: 3-month contract to start
Work Hours: Starts at5:00 am

Job Summary:
Responsible for operating manual or PLC-driven equipment to produce precision parts. Produce small or large orders or unique parts. Ensure products meet precise specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Use of manual and/or automated machinery
• Select and setup all required printers with minimal supervision
• Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications
• Write and edit machine recipes as required
• Basic machine functioning and troubleshooting
• Maneuver bulky objects
• Follow SOP
• Daily TPM

Key Competencies:

• Working knowledge of shop math
• Ability to convert from inches to mm
• Ability to read tape measures
• Able to modify programs in response to problems
• Ability to read and write English

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous silk-screening experience needed.
• Can analyze drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• A combined education and on-the-job training in a manufacturing environment; 2-4 years of previous experience with programming CNC machines.
