Machine Operator - 1st Shift
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $17.00/hr
Location: Spring Valley, IL
Advance Services is seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join a leading manufacturing company in Spring Valley. This is a great opportunity for candidates with CNC laser and fabrication experience who are looking for steady first-shift work.
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator with a minimum of 1 year of CNC laser setup/operator experience is responsible for operating and setting up laser cutting equipment, coordinating CNC workloads, and ensuring quality, on-time production. This role supports fabrication operations while maintaining safety and equipment standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate CNC workload to meet production schedules
- Perform laser cutting and fabrication support tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Accurately complete production documentation
- Use electrical and manual tools as required
- Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift operation experience
- Ability to read blueprints and prints
- Basic shop math skills
- Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- 1 year+ CNC experience required
