CNC Machine Operator / VTL Machinist

$25–$30/hr (Higher for Top Experience)
1st Shift | Temp-to-Perm at 640 Hours | Immediate Start

TradeWorX is now hiring experienced CNC Machine Operators with a strong preference for Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected precision machining shop producing complex, high-tolerance components for industrial and large-scale manufacturing projects.

Pay & Schedule
  • $25–$30/hour (higher considered for extensive experience)
  • 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs 5: 00a–3: 30p | Fri 5: 00a–12: 00p
  • Mandatory overtime opportunities after hire-on

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines and/or VTL equipment to produce precision parts
  • Read blueprints and machining tolerances
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
  • Maintain safety and quality standards in production

Qualifications
  • CNC machining/operator experience required
  • VTL experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of tolerances and inspection
  • Reliable attendance and long-term interest
