The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and supporting CNC fiber laser and press brake equipment to produce precision sheet metal parts.
They set up machines, load/unload materials, verify programs and tooling, perform routine maintenance, and interpret drawings to ensure quality.
Key duties include measuring parts for accuracy, collaborating with team members, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with inventory.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, basic understanding of CNC systems, ability to read drawings, and attention to detail.
Preferred experience includes operating CNC lasers or press brakes, especially Amada equipment, and forklift certification.
Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts, and working around industrial machinery.
The work environment is a manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, machinery, and materials, requiring PPE.
