We are seeking an experienced CNC Shop Manager to lead our machining operations and oversee a team of skilled CNC machinists. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the quality, productivity, and on-time delivery of precision machined components while supporting continuous improvement throughout the shop.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a team of fewer than 10 CNC machinists operating 7 CNC vertical machining centers and 3 CNC lathes.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
- Program, set up, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC machining processes for close-tolerance machined components.
- Monitor shop performance, machine utilization, labor efficiency, tooling requirements, and workflow to maximize productivity.
- Train, mentor, and support machinists in setup, programming, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

-Must have minimum 5 years of CNC programming and close-tolerance machining experience in a job shop environment.
-Must have proven experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes.
-Must have previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
-Must have strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Must have problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues.
