As a CNC Machine Shop Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring CNC machines used to manufacture precision metal parts. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys producing top-quality work from start to finish.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
Load raw materials and unload finished parts.
Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed.
Maintain quality standards and production quotas.
Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
Troubleshoots problems.

Education and experience in related field
Sheet metal fabrication background
Experience with tight tolerances and high-mix/low-volume work
