What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end field service across the local Madison market—service calls, installations, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on CNC machining and turning centers; resolve problems efficiently and thoroughly.
- Provide situational training at the machine and collaborate with sales when technical insights are needed.
- Communicate clearly with operators, maintenance teams, engineers, and leadership—tailoring your message to the audience.
- Represent Ellison Technologies with professionalism and integrity at every site.
- Document your work completely—customer records, technical notes, and case details—so the next visit starts ahead.
- Step in on related tasks and special projects as assigned.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
- Proven diagnostic abilities spanning mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical domains.
- Strength in the following areas:
- PLC troubleshooting skills
- CNC machine repair
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting
