CNC Machinist — Prototype

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Employment: Direct hire

Shift: Second shift, 2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.

We’re seeking a hands-on CNC machinist who can personally set up and run one- or two-part jobs. This position is suited to someone experienced with prototype or low-quantity precision work, where each setup may require adjustments before the finished part is approved.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC equipment to machine precision components.

Select tooling and fixtures; adjust feeds, speeds, and machining methods as needed.

Read blueprints, engineering drawings, 3D models, GD&T, and G-code.

Inspect parts for accuracy and complete required quality documentation.

Work with the team to resolve machining and setup issues.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience setting up and completing prototype or low-quantity machining jobs.

Experience turning or milling precision parts.

Ability to interpret drawings and inspect finished work.
